Application:
Antioxidant 697 serves as an antioxidant and metal deactivator for high polymer materials. Due to the molecular structure of Antioxidant 697, which simultaneously inhibits both phenolic and amide functional groups, the product offers dual antioxidant and metal deactivating functions. When used in high polymers, Antioxidant 697 significantly reduces oxidation degradation during processing and use, as well as suppresses the catalytic action of metal ions. It is an excellent stabilizer for wire and cable insulation materials, automotive parts, and various high polymer products, particularly suitable for polyolefins like polyethylene and polypropylene; it can also be used in polyester, polyamide, vinyl acetate polymer, polyurethane, ABS resin, and PVC resin, among others. This product features low volatility and does not color the finished products. When used in conjunction with thiodipropionate, phosphite, HALS, and other phenolic inhibitors, it produces a synergistic effect. This structural compound has received FDA approval abroad and can be used in polymers.
