Composite alkali can replace sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and industrial soda ash (sodium carbonate). Its advantage lies in its significantly lower price compared to caustic soda and soda ash, offering much better value for money. The efficiency of composite alkali in wastewater treatment is fully capable of replacing sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), and even outperforms it, while requiring less material. For instance, treating one liter of wastewater requires only slightly more than half the amount of sodium hydroxide.

Chemical Characteristics of Composite Alkali
1. Alias: Substitute Alkali (for Water Treatment Use)
2. Key Ingredients: Ca(OH)2, Active White Clay, Diatomite, Activated Carbon, Saturated Alkali Solution
3. Production Method: A novel alkaline flocculation sedimentation agent with stable structure and properties, produced by taking natural minerals as the main raw material, undergoing physical and chemical processing, activation and modification, high-tech reinforcement, and complete compound digestion with other inorganic alkalis, followed by grading and sieving.
4. Physical Properties: Fine, grayish-white, oily paste with strong alkalinity. Soluble in water, and can dissolve in solutions of acid, glycerin, sugar, or ammonium chloride. Dissolves in acid, releasing a large amount of heat. Relative density 2.24, melting point 522°C. Its clear water solution is colorless and odorless alkaline liquid with a pH of 12.4.
Basic Uses of Composite Soda
1. Sewage Flocculant Sedimentation Agent
A. Composite lime for sewage treatment with a sieve rate of 125 mesh ≥ 90%.
B. As a strong alkaline agent, flocculate and neutralize acidic wastewater or heavy metal wastewater, rendering the acidic wastewater neutral.
C. The product can act as a flocculant aid for colloidal particles in wastewater, serving as a granule nucleation weighting agent to accelerate the separation of insoluble substances.
D. Effectively removes phosphates, sulfates, and fluoride ions, etc., anions.
E、Can disrupt the binding of some metal ions to complexes or chelates such as sulfamic acid roots.
F, Adjusting the pH value has the effect of destabilizing and breaking emulsified wastewater.
2. Boiler flue gas desulfurization agent
A. Absorbs SO2 from boiler flue gas, ensuring the sulfur content in the emitted flue gas meets environmental protection standards.
B. Effectively removes phosphate, sulfate, and fluoride ions, among other anions.
C、Can disrupt the binding of some metal ions by sulfonamide groups or chelating agents.
3. Other Applications:
Stone cutting aids, soil stabilizers, concrete admixtures, chemical reagents, gypsum board joint compounds, construction adhesive ingredients, calcium alkyl sulfonate, astringents, hard water softeners, plastic fibers, etc.
4. Used for neutralizing agents in various acidic water treatments.
5. Acid neutralizer for metal mine tailings acidic water.
6. Acid Neutralizer for Electronic and Electroplating Plants
7. Textile dyeing and papermaking acidic water neutralizer.
8. Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) replacement for alkali (sodium carbonate) in alumina plants
9. For chemical alkali enterprises.
10. Used for industrial wastewater acidic water treatment.
11. Wastewater treatment plant water treatment.
Composite alkali packaging and storage
Packaged in double layers of thin plastic bags, woven plastic sacks, or牛皮纸bags, each bag weighs net 25kg. Prevent rain and moisture during storage and transportation. Do not store or transport with other chemicals. Shelf life is two years.
Safety Precautions for the Use of Composite Alkali
This product is an inorganic alkaline corrosive item. It should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry storage room with complete and sealed packaging. Prevent moisture, rain, and sun exposure. Avoid contact with acids. Handle with care during loading and unloading to prevent damage to the packaging. In case of fire, sand, and various fire extinguishers can be used for extinguishing.
