Stone笼wire mesh is made from high corrosion-resistant, high-tensile, low-carbon steel wire or galvanized PVC-coated steel wire, mechanically woven. It can be used to create padding, for slope support, foundation pit support, rock face meshing and shotcrete, slope vegetation (greening), railway and highway isolation fences, and it can also be made into protective netting against erosion for rivers, embankments, sea dikes, and for reservoir and river flow interception boxes.
Hexagonal wire mesh baskets are woven from metal wire with angular shapes, also known as hexagonal mesh boxes. The diameter of the metal wire used varies according to the size of the hexagon. For metal-coated metal wire hexagons, 2.0mm to 4.0mm diameter metal wire is used. For hexagonal mesh woven with PVC-coated metal wire, 3.0mm to 4.0mm diameter PVC metal wire is used. The wire around the outer frame edge is one size thicker than the hexagonal mesh.
Box-type stone笼mesh is made by connecting large-sized hexagonal mesh, and during construction, simply fill the stones into the cage and seal it.
Common Mesh Bag Sizes: 2m x 1m x 1m, 3m x 1m x 1m, 4m x 1m x 1m, 2m x 1m x 0.5m, 4m x 1m x 0.5m; also available for custom production based on client's specific requirements.
Surface Corrosion Treatment: Hot-Dipped Zinc Wires, Zinc-Aluminum Alloy Wires, Pvn Coated Wires, etc.
Main Applications: Floodgates and diversion dams, rockslide protection, soil and water conservation, bridge protection, soil stabilization structures, coastal defense projects, port engineering, retaining walls, road protection, etc.
Features: Sprinkle a layer of soil or naturally deposited soil on the surface of gabion baskets or mats, and green plants can grow, thus not only providing river protection but also greening the environment. Hexagonal mesh is used for slope protection, allowing trees and weeds to grow through the wire mesh, not only stabilizing stones but also primarily promoting environmental greening by using green plants to bind the soil and prevent desertification of slopes.
