With the advancement of insulation monitoring technology for high-voltage electrical equipment, microcurrent (milliampere, microampere) sensors are increasingly in use. Single-turn through-core microcurrent sensors, due to their primary and secondary side isolation and no impact on equipment wiring, have become the preferred choice for online insulation monitoring in high-voltage equipment. Such current sensors require high accuracy, excellent electromagnetic interference resistance, and long-term stability. Traditional passive sensors cannot guarantee the accuracy and stability of phase transformation errors, and are no longer sufficient. Microcurrent sensors using active zero-flux technology possess these superior characteristics and can accurately measure leakage currents in high-voltage equipment such as transformers, current transformers, voltage transformers, coupling capacitors, and lightning arresters.
The BNWXL series active zero-flux leakage current sensors are microcurrent sensors specifically designed for insulation online monitoring of high-voltage electrical equipment. They utilize high initial permeability materials for the core and employ unique deep negative feedback technology and multi-layer metal shielding measures. This allows for automatic compensation of the core, ensuring the core operates in an ideal zero-flux state. The sensor can accurately detect power frequency currents ranging from 100μA to 700mA. The phase shift error is no more than 0.01°, offering excellent temperature characteristics and electromagnetic interference resistance, fully meeting the accuracy requirements for equipment sampling under complex power plant field disturbances.
