Cast iron sluice gates are controlling equipment on various channels in hydraulic and water conservancy projects. They are mainly composed of gate frames, gate plates, hanging seats, and tight closure angle irons, etc. To overcome the previous缺点 of easy rusting in steel gates, both the gate frames and plates are made of cast iron, with the gate frame consisting of upper and lower transverse beams, left and right vertical beams.
The cast iron gate bodies typically feature a panel and reinforced rib structure; panels can be flat or arched. The material for both the gate body and frame is cast iron, generally cast and machined as a whole; for larger gate bodies, a modular assembly may be used. The gates usually have an integrated metal water stop, which also serves as a slider support. The metal water stop is securely fastened to the gate body with countersunk screws made from the same material, with the screw heads and water stop working surface precision-machined together. Larger sizes may also use "P" shaped rubber water stops. We can design and manufacture various sizes and models of non-standard gate bodies for our customers.
