Drainage mat

Drainage boards, a type in the family of drainage boards. Blocky, waterproof and water-retaining, commonly used in roof greening and indoor planting.

Construction and Laying Standards:

1. After the waterproofing layer and its protective layer are completed, start laying the drainage panels. The subgrade drainage slope must meet 2‰ to 5‰ requirements.

2. Lay the drainage board cups with the open mouth upwards, interlocking the teeth.

3. The geotextile is laid over the drainage board, with overlaps of 10-20cm between layers to prevent mud and water from passing through, clogging the drainage and retention system, and causing inefficient drainage and reduced water retention.

4. Lay a 10~20mm layer of medium-coarse sand over the geotextile to form a permeable filter layer, which can prevent the loss of planting soil.

5. Cover with an appropriate thickness of planting soil.

6. Ensure the protection of the finished drainage panels. After laying, it is not permitted to push carts directly on the drainage panels. When transporting materials, lay wooden planks or paths. Achieve the process of laying and filling soil simultaneously.
