The CO2 RF laser is a type of gas laser with a laser wavelength of 10.64μm, falling within the mid-infrared frequency band. CO2 lasers offer higher power and a higher electrical-optical conversion efficiency. The CO2 laser operates with CO2 gas as the working medium, filling the discharge tube with CO2 and other auxiliary gases. Upon applying a high voltage to the electrodes, a glow discharge is produced in the discharge tube, causing the gas molecules to emit laser light. The emitted laser energy is expanded and focused, then scanned and focused by the mirror and expanded lens, respectively. Under the control of the computer and laser marking control card, the machine can engrave images, text, numbers, and lines on the workpiece according to user specifications.
