Silicone-Modified Polyester (SMP)
Due to the active groups -OH/-COOH present in polyester, it readily reacts with other macromolecular compounds. To improve the UV resistance and anti-fading properties of PE, and enhance its heat resistance, a silicone resin is used for crosslinking reactions with PE, with a crosslinking ratio of up to 5%.
