Quartz glass tube level gauges are on-site display liquid level instruments. The mechanical, electrical, and optical properties of quartz glass tubes are superior to those of ordinary glass tubes. Moreover, due to their special refractive and reflective effects, they exhibit a bi-color display, making them more functional than ordinary glass tube level gauges. They are widely used for measuring the liquid level heights of various tanks, towers, sumps, and boxes in industrial equipment. Particularly suitable for measuring the liquid levels of high-temperature, high-temperature difference, high-pressure, and acidic solutions, and due to their bi-color display, they are especially suitable for direct bi-color display of water levels in high and medium-pressure boilers.
Installation and Usage:
Installation
(1) The color liquid level gauges have been pressure tested at 1.5 times the rated pressure upon factory shipment. Please do not disassemble the quartz tube yourself to prevent damage.
(2) The installation center has been manufactured to the user's required dimensions upon factory shipment. If an adjustment in observation direction is needed, please contact the factory in advance. Avoid making adjustments on-site to prevent a reduction in the pressure-bearing capacity of the entire level gauge system.
(3) The dual-color level gauges come with red and green glass, which are available in both installed and uninstalled options due to transportation distances. If not installed, please follow the order below for installation: place the green glass in the middle, and firmly glue the red glass on both sides (provided by the manufacturer), arrange them sequentially in the level gauge glass slot, and then secure them tightly with metal sheets and screws.
(4) The two-color level gauge is a precision instrument. It must be handled with care during transportation, handling, unpacking, and installation. Avoid impacts and敲打 to prevent the quartz glass tube and red-green glass from breaking.
Two: Utilize
(1) After installing the two-color liquid level gauge on the container, first slowly open the upper and lower valves to allow the liquid to flow and rinse the inner wall of the flushing pipe. If the liquid inside the container is at a high temperature, preheat the quartz tube for half an hour before operation to prevent cracking.
(2) When observing the liquid level, always stand in front of the liquid level gauge; the level you see is the actual liquid level inside the container.
(3) When liquid enters the container or pressure increases, the two-color liquid level display may be unclear. This is a temporary phenomenon caused by unclean liquid inside the container or unstable pressure, which will clear up once it stabilizes.
