How does a chain bucket dredger work?
The chain bucket sand dredger is equipped with a separation and screening system, available in single and double-layer configurations. It effectively separates stones, mud, weeds, and other impurities from the sand, which are then conveyed out via a conveyor belt. The conveying section can be dual, single, or multi-conveyor systems. It allows for the separation of sand and impurities on both sides. The conveying distance for sand is 10-20 meters, while for impurities, it is 6-16 meters. The dredger can also recover stones according to customer specifications.
Before starting, check the entire mechanical transmission system and machine oil. Then, start the diesel engine of the belt conveyor at the back, engage the clutch, start the diesel engine, gradually release the clutch, and adjust the speed to normal. Before starting the diesel engine of the front chain bucket.
(2) After the two diesel engines start up, adjust the speed to the required level. Then release the big arm brake and slowly lower it. Stop lowering when the sand in the hopper is more than 2/3 full. Lower further when it reaches 1/3, then support the big arm. When the big arm forms a 45-degree angle with the water surface (approximately 5 meters), stop lowering the arm. At this point, the amount of sand in the hopper is controlled by the traction. Check the sand level in the hopper when moving forward, and be flexible with forward and reverse movements.
