Is explosion-proof product certification the same as the CCC certification? — Answer from Shenzhen Zhongnuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd.
We generally refer to explosion-proof product certification as the safety certification required for explosion-proof products to enter the market, commonly known as explosion-proof certification, and the certificate issued is called the Explosion-Proof Certificate of Conformity.
CCC Certification, which stands for "China Compulsory Certification," is abbreviated as CCC.
The CCC certification mark is denoted as "CCC" and is a product certification system established by the Certification and Supervision Commission according to the "Regulations for Compulsory Product Certification" (Order No. 5 of the China Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine Commission).
As of October 1, 2019, explosion-proof electrical products were officially included in the mandatory product certification scope under market supervision.
Means that some explosion-proof electrical products must be compulsorily certified with the 3C mark to enter the market and circulate.
Partial explosion-proof product certifications are included in the CCC certification scope.

Observing windows' transparent parts should be separately sent with at least 5 pieces, with no fewer than 3.
The transparent parts of the lighting fixtures should be sent separately with at least 5 pieces, but a total of 8.
Rubber aging tests should provide 3 to 5 pieces of 35156 rubber blocks.
Two plastic sheets with a diameter of 15060mm are required for the insulation resistance test of the plastic shell. If the size allows, the test can be directly conducted on the plastic shell.

Application cycle for explosion-proof 3C certification (excluding rectification and preparation time for the applicant)
1. Agency review of application materials: 2 business days
2. Issue Test Tasks: Within 2 working days after the review of the materials is completed
3. Testing Cycle: Generally, issue the Testing Report within 30 working days after confirming receipt of the sample.
The specific防爆 type is determined based on the complete information provided by the client and the requested type. If there are modifications during the testing process, the time for these modifications will not be included. For composite types or tests with complex projects and longer cycles, the testing time will be extended.
4. Factory Audit: Issue the Testing Report and arrange for factory audit within 3 working days. Complete the factory audit within 5 working days.
5. Frequency of Certification: After the submission of the type test and factory reviewing report, an audit will be conducted within 5 working days. A Certificate will be issued upon successful audit.
