Shenzhen ZhongNuo Inspection & Technology Co., Ltd. offers on-site explosion-proof electrical inspection, explosion-proof project acceptance services, and can also provide explosion-proof rectification and construction services for items not meeting inspection standards.
What qualifications are required for regular inspections of explosion-proof electrical equipment?
The regular inspection of explosion-proof electrical equipment, as mentioned in the above text, in accordance with the AQ 3009-2007 "Electrical Safety and Explosion Proof Standards for Hazardous Areas," must be conducted by a certified inspection center with explosion-proof expertise. This certification is authorized by the CNAS and can be verified on the CNAS website.
The standard(s) referenced in the "Electrical Explosion Protection Inspection Report" issued from regular inspections of explosion-proof electrical equipment include, but are not limited to:
GB 50058-2014 "Code for Design of Electrical Installations in Explosive Hazardous Environments"
GB50257-2014 Code for Construction and Acceptance of Electrical Installation Projects in Explosive and Flammable Gas and Dust Environments
GB/T3836.15-2017 "Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres – Part 15: Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas (Excluding Coal Mines)"
AQ3009-2007 Electrical Explosion-Proof Safety Code for Hazardous Areas
ZhongNuo Inspection offers a range of explosion-proof site safety inspection services:
1. Explosion-proof safety inspections for electrical equipment in hazardous areas
2. Explosive Dust Explosion Proof Testing

Application Institution for Explosion-Proof Electrical Construction Completion and Acceptance Report
It's widely known that after electrical work in explosive hazardous areas is completed, a third-party organization must conduct a post-completion inspection. Only upon passing the inspection can the facility be put into use. Additionally, besides regular checks by the company itself, a facility with explosion-proof inspection qualifications must carry out inspections every three years.
What are the main items inspected during the acceptance of completed projects here?
1. Inspect the explosion-proof electrical equipment for the presence of a label, Ex marking, and clear identification of the type, class, and group of the explosion-proof equipment. Does the label indicate the explosion-proof certificate number issued by the inspection unit?
2. Inspect the type, classification, group, environmental conditions, and special markings of explosion-proof electrical equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Inspect the shell of explosion-proof electrical equipment for cracks or damage; check if the paint is intact, if the junction box cover is securely fastened, and if the fixing bolts and anti-loosening devices are in place.
4. Check electrical equipment with oil-filled for oil leakage and seepage, and ensure the oil level meets the specifications.
5. Ventilation and exhaust systems for explosion-proof electrical equipment with positive pressure should be unobstructed, connections should be correct, and the installation positions of the inlet and outlet should meet the requirements.
6. Are the extra entry ports of the explosion-proof electrical equipment properly sealed in accordance with regulations?
7. The installation of sealed or insulated devices in electrical circuits should comply with regulations.
8. Wiring for intrinsically safe explosion-proof electrical equipment must comply with design requirements for route and elevation; the lines should be marked with a sky blue sign.
9. The grounding or earthing of explosion-proof electrical equipment, as well as static electricity grounding, should meet the design requirements and be firm and reliable.
10. At the time of completion and acceptance, the relevant documents, materials, manufacturer's product user manuals, test records, qualification certificates, and installation drawings, along with other technical files, should be submitted.
11. At the time of acceptance, the following measurement records should also be submitted:
Measurement records of single-side air gap for explosion-proof motor stator and rotor.
(2) Adjustment records for pressure-relief devices in explosion-proof electrical equipment, such as wind and air pressure relays; high-temperature records of the equipment housing during trial operation of explosion-proof electrical equipment; and test records of grounding resistance values for electrostatic protection grounding.
12. Explosion-proof electrical equipment operation records
The shell temperature of explosion-proof electrical equipment, including the internal temperature of intrinsic safety and non-sparking types, should not exceed the specified value.
(2) After the internal wiring of the junction box is securely fastened, the electrical clearance and creepage distance between live parts and between them and the metal casing should comply with regulations.
(3) The exhaust port of explosion-proof electrical equipment with positive pressure should not emit sparks. The micro-pressure relay should operate reliably when reducing wind pressure and air pressure.
(4) The protective devices and interlocking devices of explosion-proof electrical equipment should operate correctly and reliably.
