The entire screw pump units from Luenais, etc., are equipped with hollow rotors and stators of equal wall thickness, which, when combined, address the drawbacks typically encountered during the operation of conventional screw pumps.
2. The equal wall thickness stator rubber layer is thinner and evenly distributed, which facilitates heat conduction. Additionally, the spiral shape of the stator housing increases the surface area for heat dissipation, making the equal wall thickness stator generate less heat than the standard stator. Consequently, the equal wall thickness stator has a longer service life. Our new screw pump utilizes an equal wall thickness stator paired with a hollow rotor, which is lighter in weight and possesses some elasticity. This reduces the lateral side pressure on the stator rubber from the rotor, significantly reducing stator damage and further extending the pump's working life, thereby lowering operating costs.
3. A uniform and thin rubber wall thickness on the stator ensures minimal and even expansion under thermal effects, reducing the interference fit between the rotor and stator rubber. This results in lower torque required for pump start-up and operation, as well as reduced power consumption by the motor, making it more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
4. Equal wall thickness stators have higher single-stage pressures (common single-stage pressure is 0.6 Mpa, while equal wall thickness can reach 1.0 Mpa). This is due to the thinner rubber thickness in equal wall thickness stators, resulting in less deformation under pressure. Consequently, the single-stage pressure is 60%-70% higher than that of conventional designs. In multi-stage high-pressure applications, the number of stages required for equal wall thickness screw pumps is less than that for conventional pumps. Therefore, under the same pressure requirements, equal wall thickness stators can be made shorter than conventional stators, which not only reduces the cost of the screw pump but also saves the installation space required for the pump.
5. Uniform wall thickness stator has excellent technical and economic indicators. Uniform wall thickness stator screw pumps are not only feasible in terms of technology but also offer high economic benefits. Compared to conventional screw pumps, they have fewer on-site accidents, less mechanical loss, can improve pump efficiency, and reduce costs.
