Liaokang No.1

Feature characteristics:

Early maturing variety, fresh pods mature in about 63 days (in the Yangtze River basin), with limited podding habit, plant height around 50 cm. White flowers, round leaves, gray pubescence. Green seed coat, yellow cotyledons, light brown hilum, 35-38 grams per hundred seeds, fat content 21.55%. Protein content 19.70%, pods large and plump during filling stage, good fresh eating quality, high yield of fresh pod products, 800 kg of fresh pods per mu. Liaokang No.1 is suitable for cultivation in both south and north, for harvesting and eating fresh green soybeans. Around 15,000 plants per mu in northern cultivation, around 20,000 plants per mu in southern cultivation.
