Firewall settings requirements
1. The firewall should be directly installed on the foundation or framework, beams, and other load-bearing structures of the building. The fire resistance of the framework, beams, and other load-bearing structures should not be less than that of the firewall.
The firewall should extend from the base level of the floor to the base level of the beams, floors, or roof panels. When the load-bearing structure of the roof in high-rise factories (warehouses) and the fire resistance limit of the roof panels are below 1.00h, and when the load-bearing structure of the roof and the fire resistance limit of the roof panels in other buildings are below 0.50h, the firewall should be elevated 0.5m above the roof surface.
2. The horizontal distance from the centerline of the firewall cross-section to the window end face is less than 4.0m, and if the window end face is a combustible wall, measures should be taken to prevent the spread of fire.
3. When the exterior walls of a building are of non-combustible or combustible material, the fire-resistant panels and firewalls should project beyond the outer surface of the wall by more than 0.4 meters. Additionally, both sides of the firewalls should be made of non-combustible walls with a width of not less than 2.0 meters. The fire-resistant panel factory should ensure that the fire resistance limit of the panels is no less than that of the exterior walls.
