Mix Ratio: To ensure the smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface of the guardrail concrete, the mix ratio of cement is crucial. After numerous trials, the following mix ratio has been adopted: Water:Cement:Sand:0.5-1cm Small Gravel:1-2cm Large Gravel (0.5:1:1.74:1.52:1.85). The cement used is ordinary silicate cement, with a cement quantity of 370kg and a sand ratio of 34%. If the concrete slump is too high, it tends to segregate, resulting in a lack of a smooth surface and visible water marks; if the slump is too low, it is difficult to compact, leading to more honeycombs and air bubbles. The raw materials for concrete have strict requirements; the sand and small gravel must be sifted, and the quantities must be accurately measured according to the mix ratio.
