Aluminum grid ceiling process and operation technique:
1. Set the height and draw a level line on the wall using a chalk line.
2. Secure the suspension rod to the ceiling with an iron expansion bolt, ensuring the light steel joist below remains level (no suspension rod is needed if the grid span does not exceed 3 meters).
3. Secure aluminum angle line along the horizontal line with concrete nails.
4. Assemble the aluminum grill panels completely on the ground.
5. Place the assembled grille ceiling on top of the aluminum angle iron, securing it in the middle with thin iron wire directly fastened to the light steel stud.
⑴ Leveling Lines: Use a level to mark horizontal points at each corner of every wall (column) inside the room (if walls are long, mark additional points in the middle). Draw a level line (typically 500mm above the ground), measure from the level line to the ceiling design height, and draw a chalk line along the wall (column) to indicate the bottom line of the ceiling grid. Simultaneously, according to the ceiling plan, mark the location of the main rafters on the concrete ceiling. The main rafters should be divided from the center of the ceiling to both sides, with a large spacing of 1000mm, and the fixed points of the hangers should be marked, with a spacing of 900mm to 1000mm between them. If the fixed points for beams and pipes exceed the design and specification requirements, additional fixed points for the hangers should be added.
⑵ Fixed Hanger Bars: Fixed using expansion bolts. φ6 hanger rods can be used. Hanger rods can be made of cold drawn steel bars or round steel bars, but if round steel bars are used, they should be straightened by machinery. One end of the hanger rod is welded to an L30*30*3 angle iron (the diameter of the angle iron holes should be determined based on the diameter of the hanger rod and expansion bolts), and the other end can be threaded to exceed 100mm or a pre-made threaded rod can be焊接. The finished hanger rod should be treated for rust prevention. The hanger rod is fixed to the floor using expansion bolts, with holes drilled using a hammer drill; the hole diameter should be slightly larger than the diameter of the expansion bolts.
⑶ Light Steel Stud Installation: The light steel studs should be suspended on hangers (if the ceiling is low, this process can be omitted and proceed directly to the next step). Generally, 38mm light steel studs are used with spacing of 900mm to 1000mm. The light steel studs should be installed horizontally with a slight arch, with the arch height being 1/200 to 1/300 of the room span. The cantilever section of the light steel stud should not exceed 300mm; if it does, additional hangers should be added. The extension of the main beam should be done with butt joints, with the joints of adjacent studs staggered. Once the light steel studs are hung, they should be basically leveled.
Ceilings spanning over 15m should have an additional large rib added to the main rib every 15m, and it should be securely welded vertically to the main rib.
④ Spring Plate Installation: Connect with the hanger and light steel frame (if the ceiling is low, the spring plate can be directly installed on the hanger, omitting this step), spacing 900mm to 1000mm, then clip the spring plate onto the hanger.
⑸ Grille main and sub-rib assembly: Pre-assemble the main and sub-ribs of the grille according to the design drawings below.
⑥ Grille Installation: Hang the pre-assembled grille ceiling through the main bone holes with a hook, connect the entire grille ceiling, and adjust it to be level.
