Design and manufacturing of crucible isostatic molds, graphite crucible and other materials' isostatic pressing molds, cold isostatic pressing is a crucial ceramic forming technology. It involves compressing powder into shape at room temperature through the transmission of isotropic pressure via a fluid medium. Compared to conventional forming techniques, isostatic pressing achieves a higher green density of the moldings, up to 5% to 15% higher than that of conventional molding. Moreover, the green density is uniform, making it suitable for products with a high length-to-diameter ratio such as columns and tubes. Additionally, isostatic pressing products exhibit excellent properties, leading to its significant application in the preparation of special ceramics. It has been successfully used in the production of large, complex ceramic products like ceramic antenna covers, vacuum interrupter ceramic tube shells, thermocouple protective ceramic sleeves, ceramic tubes for oil drilling made of alumina or zirconia, transparent ceramic sleeves for high-pressure sodium lamps, high-voltage ceramic insulating tubes, spark plugs, and carbon graphite products, among others.
