Introduction: The KCB type gear pump is mainly composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The gears, after heat treatment, possess high hardness and strength and rotate together with the shafts inside replaceable shaft sleeves. The lubrication of all parts inside the pump is automatically achieved during operation by utilizing the output medium.
Purpose
The KCB type gear pump is suitable for conveying lubricating oils or other liquids with similar properties that are free of solid particles and fibers, non-corrosive, and with temperatures not exceeding 80°C, and viscosities ranging from 5×10-6 to 1.5×10-3 m2/s (5-1500 cSt).
Structural characteristics
This series of gear pumps is primarily composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The gears, after heat treatment, possess high hardness and strength and operate with the shafts inside replaceable shaft sleeves. All parts inside the pump are lubricated automatically during operation using the output medium. The pump features well-designed oil discharge and return channels, which minimize the torque forces experienced by the gears during operation, resulting in lower bearing loads, reduced wear, and higher pump efficiency.
The pump is equipped with a safety valve for overload protection, with the full回流 pressure of the safety valve being 1.5 times the pump's rated discharge pressure. It can also be adjusted additionally within the allowable discharge pressure range according to actual needs. However, note that this safety valve is not suitable for long-term operation as a pressure-reducing valve; an alternative installation can be made on the pipeline if necessary. Looking from the outer end of the main shaft towards the pump, the rotation is clockwise. The performance parameters of various gear pumps are determined at a medium viscosity of 4×10-3 m2/s (40 cSt). The parameter values provided in the performance parameters table are applicable within the medium viscosity range of 1×10-5 to 8×10-5 m2/s (10 to 80 cSt); for values outside this range, they are determined separately based on the user's specified performance parameters. The discharge pressure values provided in the performance parameters of various gear pumps are the maximum working pressure values; within this range, the pump can operate normally, with the operating range shown in Figure 1. The KCB series gear oil pump is composed of parts such as the pump body, front and rear pump covers, gears, main and driven shafts, bearings, safety valves, and shaft-end seals. The KCB18.3-83.3 main drive gears consist of a pair of helical cylindrical gears with a direct-acting safety valve. The KCB200-960 main drive gears are a human-shaped gear set composed of four helical gears with a differential pressure safety valve. The full series of gear oil pumps are motor-driven thermal oil pump units composed of a three-jaw elastic coupling. This series of gear oil pumps has a simple and compact structure, is easy to use and maintain, operates smoothly, and is safe and reliable in use.
Application Range
This type of gear oil pump is suitable for transporting heavy oils, diesel, mechanical oils, vegetable oils, and other liquids with similar properties, which have a viscosity not exceeding 150 mm²/s, a temperature not exceeding 120°C, and are non-corrosive, free of hard particle impurities and fibers.
This type of gear oil pump is primarily used for the transfer, pressurization, and fuel injection of oil mediums in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, mining, and power stations, as well as in the lubrication circulation of large-scale machinery and equipment. It can be used as a lubrication pump in various types of machinery and equipment.
In oil transportation systems, it can be used as a transmission and booster pump; in fuel systems, it serves as a pump for conveying, pressurizing, and injecting fuel; and across all industrial sectors, it can be used as a lubricating oil pump.
