The performance of the product depends on the materials chosen and its structure. Steel-reinforced polyethylene plastic composite pipes boast superior qualities. In addition to using high-quality materials globally, their performance hinges on the rationality and innovativeness of the design. They are a new type of green pipeline product with dual-side corrosion resistance and pressure resistance. The pipeline is reinforced with high-quality low-carbon steel wire mesh and is made of pipeline-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE). It offers the strength of a standard steel pipe while also being resistant to various biological and chemical substances like a plastic pipe. It represents the development direction of the world's pipeline industry.
Excellent corrosion resistance
Compared to metal pipelines, steel-reinforced polyethylene plastic composite pipes, like PE pipes, offer excellent resistance to chemical corrosion. They exhibit good corrosion resistance against approximately 270 types of corrosive media, including acid, alkali, salt solutions, and organic solvents.
2. Excellent wear resistance
The wear resistance of steel-reinforced polyethylene composite pipes is three times that of steel pipes, as shown in the table below; compared to plastic pipes connected with hot plate butt welding, the steel-reinforced polyethylene composite pipes, using electric fusion welding, have a smooth transition at the joints, avoiding the bulge formed at the inner wall joints of hot plate butt welding pipes, thereby effectively enhancing the pipe's wear resistance.
