Fire-rated windows are those that, within a certain period, along with their frames, meet the requirements for fire resistance stability and integrity. They should be used in the exterior walls of two buildings where the fire separation distance is insufficient, or between spaces separated by fire partitions, when light and ventilation are needed.

Fixed Fire Window: A fire-resistant window without operable sash.

When the horizontal distance between doors and windows near both sides of the fire-resistant wall is less than 2 meters, Class B fire-resistant windows should be used.
