Flexible bell mouth joint forms are commonly used in cement pipes with an outside diameter of not less than 1200mm. This joint form is a type of flexible connection, characterized by the bell mouth design, and it is superior to the bell mouth type.
② The socket-type interface uses a rubber ring for water sealing, which is a flexible connection. The insertion depth of the interface ranges from 80 to 100 mm. This type of Zhengzhou cement pipe has good seismic resistance. The pipe base can be either sandy gravel foundation or concrete foundation, with rapid installation speed. However, do not use socket-type interfaces for large-diameter cement pipes due to the occurrence of circumferential cracks.
③ Socket pipes are a more traditional type of joint in Zhengzhou Cement Pipes, with moderate production difficulty, high efficiency, and low production costs. The joint sealing using wire mesh concrete tape provides a rigid connection, but its sealing and seismic performance are not ideal. If the foundation shifts, the joints may be pulled apart, potentially contaminating the underground soil with wastewater, which is not environmentally friendly. Therefore, this type of jointing method is not commonly used.
