Balloons of PerliteIt is a fly ash hollow sphere that floats on water, with a grayish-white color, thin walls, and a hollow interior, extremely lightweight, with a bulk density of720kg/m3Heavy-duty418.8kg/m3(Lightweight), particle size approximately0.1Millimeters, surface sealed and smooth, low thermal conductivity, fire resistance ≥1610°C, it is an excellent thermal insulation and refractory material, widely used in the production of lightweight castables and in oil drilling. The main chemical components of the expanded polystyrene beads are silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide, featuring fine particles, hollow structure, light weight, high strength, wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, thermal insulation, and flame-retardant insulation. It is one of the raw materials extensively used in the refractory industry.
