Generally, nuts may loosen during use due to vibration or other reasons. To prevent this, the hex step nut was invented.
Hexagonal step nuts primarily serve the function of anti-loosening and vibration resistance. They are used in special occasions.
Hexagonal stepped nuts are typically self-locking by friction.
Nylon ring embedded, neck-closed, and with metal tension release. They all fall under the category of effective torque type anti-loosening nuts.
