Basic principles of gas infrared radiation heating system

There are three ways of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation. The sun is 150 million kilometers away from the Earth, yet it can transfer its heat energy to the Earth's surface through the use of infrared radiation.

The phenomenon in which an object converts its own thermal energy and emits radiant energy through infrared radiation is called thermal radiation or infrared radiation. The higher the surface temperature of an object, the stronger its infrared radiation ability. Gas infrared radiation heating is the use of infrared radiation that is burned in a radiation heater and emits a certain wavelength (between 2.8-6.2 microns, with an absorption rate greater than 90%) for heating. After infrared radiation is irradiated onto an object, some is absorbed and some is reflected, providing secondary heating to the object and human body.

For high-rise buildings such as factories and warehouses, using gas infrared radiation heating can avoid vertical temperature field imbalance caused by convective heating. At the same time, local heating or intermittent heating can be provided to the areas inside the factory according to production process requirements, which cannot be achieved by flow heating. 2. Flexible arrangement and convenient control of individual equipment: ① A heating area is composed of multiple devices, with flexible arrangement; ② Different heating areas can set different temperatures; ③ Can be controlled regionally and individually; ④ It can provide both heating and local heating; ⑤ The pressure drop inside the radiation tube is very small, and there is no noise inside the tube; ⑥ One burner is equipped with a negative pressure fan, which does not require a damper regulating valve. The air volume is constant during operation, complete combustion, and exhaust gas can be discharged internally, resulting in significant energy-saving effects.

12. Reasonable surface temperature and high radiation efficiency: ① The surface temperature of the radiation tube is 180-550 ℃; ② The radiation heat intensity is moderate, with over 90% being absorbed and converted into thermal energy.
