The rocks of Mount Taishan landscape stones are plagioclase gneiss, biotite hornblende plagioclase gneiss, gneissic granite, granite gneiss and fine-grained hornblende. The pattern is formed by the crystallization of late stage light colored minerals such as plagioclase, potassium feldspar, quartz, etc. filled in irregular primary fractures. Some are due to geological reasons, and the melted light colored mineral rock juice such as plagioclase and quartz rises and fills in the fractures of shallow rocks, forming various network like, branching like, strip-shaped, blocky and other vein bodies. In the process of crustal changes, these metamorphic rocks gradually emerge on the surface, undergo long-term natural weathering to form isolated blocks, and collapse and roll into valleys and rivers, where they are washed away by flowing water and polished by sand and gravel to become strange stones. The prominent stone bars are preferred in the Mount Taishan landscape stone pattern. The white patterns that make up the picture are divided into stone bars and stone skins. Due to the different hardness between the stone bars and the stone body, after millions of years of weathering and grinding, the stone bars gradually protrude from the stone surface, giving it a sense of relief.
