Melt Flow Rate Meter Usage Instructions:
1. Turn on the power, set the temperature, sample interval, and cutting次数, melt flow rate meter, wait for the temperature to rise, before testing the sample, ensure the barrel temperature is constant >15 minutes.
2. Weigh 3-8 grams of test sample based on the pre-calculated flow rate.
3. Prepare gauze, tweezers, cleaning cloths, and mouth mold cleaning rods.
4. After the temperature stabilizes, use a funnel to transfer the weighed sample into the cylinder, then manually compress the sample with the piston. The function of the melt flow rate meter is to complete this process within 1 minute.
After four minutes, the temperature should return to the selected setting; at this point, apply the selected load to the piston. The piston will descend under gravity until a bubble-free thin strip is extruded.
6. Pre-cut and start timing, automatically cut at the set time intervals; each cut segment is 10-20mm in length.
7. After cutting, quickly remove the mold and excess material. Clean the mold promptly while it's hot, using a melt flow rate meter manufacturer, and then clean the interior of the hopper with cheesecloth.
After sectioning and cooling, carefully weigh the samples, ensuring accuracy to 1mg, and calculate the average weight.
