Cautionary Notes:

Vacuum pump oil has a shelf life of up to 3-5 years under sealed conditions; unopened, it is guaranteed for 3 months.

* Replace pump oil after the initial 500 hours of use, then every 1000-1500 hours thereafter. (Note: In harsh operating conditions, observe the pump oil color regularly.)

Check the oil level sight glass; replace the vacuum pump oil when the oil turns from amber to black or to milky white.

Selecting the appropriate vacuum pump oil will greatly benefit the pump's ultimate differential pressure, ultimate total pressure, start-up, power consumption, pump temperature, stability of pump performance, and the service life of the vacuum pump.

Vacuum pump oil change method

1. Unscrew the drain valve using the gravity method, raise the pump housing to allow the old oil in the vacuum pump to automatically flow into the position of the oil screw cap for draining. After the old oil is completely drained, inject a small amount of clean vacuum pump oil (100~500mL) into the vacuum pump's oil filling port, flushing the internal cavity. Then, run the vacuum pump for about 1 minute, turn it off, and drain the newly injected oil. If the drained oil is still not clean, continue to inject new oil for flushing until it is clean.

Then, unscrew the drain valve, remove the oil filling cap from the filling hole, add new vacuum pump oil into the vacuum pump until the oil level reaches the oil mark, and then tighten the filling cap.
