Cautionary Notes:

Vacuum pump oil has a shelf life of up to 3-5 years under sealed conditions; the unopened warranty is for 3 months.

After the initial 500 hours of use, replace the pump oil. Thereafter, change the oil every 1000-1500 operating hours. (Note: In harsh operating conditions, monitor the oil color frequently.)

Check the oil level gauge; if the oil turns from yellow-brown to black or milky white, it's time to replace the vacuum pump oil.

Selecting the appropriate vacuum pump oil will greatly benefit the pump's ultimate differential pressure, ultimate total pressure, startup, power consumption, pump temperature, stability of pump performance, and the service life of the vacuum pump.

Vacuum pump oil change method

Open the drain valve using gravity, raise the pump housing to allow the old oil in the vacuum pump to automatically flow into the position of the rotating oil cap and drain out. After the old oil is drained, inject a small amount of clean vacuum pump oil (100~500mL) from the vacuum pump filling port, flushing the interior of the pump chamber. Then, run the vacuum pump for about 1 minute, turn off the pump, and drain the newly injected oil. If the drained oil is still not clean, continue to inject new oil for flushing until it is clean.

Then, unscrew the oil drain valve, remove the oil filling cap from the filling hole, add new vacuum pump oil into the vacuum pump until the oil level reaches the oil marker line, and then tighten the filling cap.
