Beijing's plant and flower rental service is an industry that has only emerged in the past decade or so. It's possible that some friends may still be unaware of its existence. In fact, this concept was initiated by the buyers of plants and flowers. Now, let me explain how the plant and flower rental arrangement business came about.

This matter begins with2004In the year, there was no particularly impressive large-scale flower wholesale market in Beijing at that time. We were at the Old Xinglong Flower and Plant Market, which is now the west side of the north gate of Zhongxing Flowers at Huangtu冈, on the Fourth Ring Road.200North of the road, it has now become a green belt, primarily operating through wholesale and retail. Many companies based in Beijing come here to purchase flowers and plants for their offices, adding vitality and purifying the indoor air, and also mitigating some of the electromagnetic radiation from electronic products. However, most of these companies lack knowledge or professionals in flower and plant care, leading to the vibrant plants withering away in just a couple of months or a week. They are then forced to spend more money on new flowers and plants. After several losses, some companies have consulted us for care methods and precautions, but with little effect. I remember clearly that a company based at the Kefeng Bridge headquarters suggested that after purchasing plants from our nursery, we send our caretakers to their office regularly to maintain the plants. The purchasing party would then pay a fee based on the caretaker's work. The collaboration was set for a year, during which the office plants were meticulously cared for by our professionals, thriving lushly and vibrantly.
One year after the verbal agreement expired, the flowers and green plants had thrived under careful nurturing, many of them no longer retaining their original graceful shapes. Some woody plants had even grown branches directly to the ceiling of the office. The buyer was once again worried: it was a shame to replace such good plants, yet keeping them would result in a loss of shape. Another purchase would mean additional expenses. The purchasing department manager approached me and asked if we could replace their company's plants with our new ones, with the same care still provided by us. They would pay us a monthly fee for each pot of greenery and flowers. I agreed to the idea, but as this was a first for renting greenery, I wondered what the fee structure would be. Additionally, the price for a large potted plant was...200-600Don't wait; placing so many pots at the other party's location is a bit risky. To put it bluntly, what if they move? After all, the caretaker visits once a week. Eventually, both parties agreed to use half the total price of the flowers and plants as a deposit, until the agreed termination, when the deposit would be returned. The rental price per pot of flowers and plants is one-third of the sale price. The seller of the flowers and plants provides daily care and pest control, as well as replacement for any plants that die. The rental fee is settled at the end of each month. This is a draft of the initial flower rental contract.
Time flies like an arrow, and three years have passed in a blink. More and more enterprises and companies are choosing to lease flowers and green plants, leaving our maintenance professionals stretched thin. It takes at least three years to go from a novice to a qualified professional in flower and green plant care.;With more competitors joining the flower rental market, the monthly rental prices for flowers have dropped from one-third of the initial selling price to just one-sixth, and in some cases, even one-tenth, of the original price per pot of flowering plant. The initial deposit for flowering plants has also evolved into a pre-paid model.
