TPA-RLC Islanding Test Load

Product Overview

The TPA-RLC series AC programmable load can simulate various resistive (R), capacitive (L), and inductive (C) AC loads, mimic the working environment of inverters, and test the actual output power and load-bearing capacity of inverters. It can also detect the resonant points of photovoltaic inverters. The power input uses a stepped combination control, allowing for various power input combinations. The RLC programmable AC load is mainly used for testing AC power sources such as inverters, UPS systems, and generator sets.

◇Features panel operation and remote control with corresponding upper computer operation software.

◇ Resistive, inductive, and capacitive load powers can be freely combined; resistive load power adjustable from 1W to rated power, inductive load power adjustable from 1W to rated power, capacitive load power adjustable from 1W to rated power; capable of accurately adjusting the AC resonance point under three-phase voltage unbalance conditions, and accurately simulating AC resonance for inverter debugging and testing requirements.

◇ Measures various data to meet inverter testing requirements, including resistive current, inductive current, capacitive current, voltage, current, frequency, power, apparent power, reactive power, total harmonic voltage, total harmonic current, power factor, voltage waveform. It allows for the upload of measured data to a PC and records and stores the process data of the detection process.

Resonant Test: Set inductive power consumption equal to capacitive power consumption. During resonance, theoretically, inductive and capacitive reactive power cancel each other out, resulting in reactive power = 0.

◇ Power factor adjustable from 0.3 to 1; With the power factor navigator, users simply input the desired power or current and the power factor number to generate the corresponding LC value.
