Louis Shelley Men's suits are custom-made with a rough process of eight steps: fabric treatment, ironing, interfacing, pattern making, hand stitching, lining, fitting, modification handling, and light testing. To ensure a perfect fit, customers are typically required to try on the suit two to three times. After each fitting, the suit is fully disassembled and re-cut based on the adjustments made during the fitting, followed by detailed stitching.

Louis Shelley custom suits are meticulously crafted, with each process involving meticulous pressing and shaping to ensure satisfaction before proceeding. After tailoring and stitching, the next step is buttonhole setting. Only suits approved by the customer are buttonholed. These ten or so buttonholes require a skilled tailor several hours to complete, all done by hand.
