Water Softening Equipment, as the name implies, is a device used to reduce the hardness of water, primarily by removing calcium and magnesium ions. During the water softening process, it can lower the total salt content in the water, and it is widely used in hot water boiler systems, heat exchange systems, industrial cooling systems, central air conditioning systems, and other water-using equipment systems. The resin separation soft water technology is a sodium ion exchange method, where the raw water is passed through a sodium ion exchange agent, replacing the Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the water with Na+ from the exchange agent, converting the scale-forming calcium and magnesium compounds into easily soluble sodium compounds, thereby softening the water. The fully automatic sodium ion exchange unit mainly consists of multi-way control valves, a controller, a resin tank (with a distributor inside), and a salt tank. The multi-way control valve is a valve with multiple pathways within a single valve body. The controller sends commands to the multi-way valve based on the set program, which then automatically completes the opening and closing of multiple valves. This enables the operation, backwashing, regeneration, displacement, and rinsing procedures without the need for a salt solution pump. The equipment is simple and can be widely used in the preparation of softened water for both industrial and domestic applications, such as steam boiler feed water, heating and air conditioning, swimming pools, and other water systems.
