Driver's Education Enrollment
Students must first find a suitable driving school to enroll and learn driving examination knowledge. When choosing a driving school, consider factors such as the pass rate, distance, service reputation, and scale of the institution. Driving School Process
1. Driving School Learning Process - Subject One
Introduction: Subject One refers to the driver's theoretical exam, which covers basic knowledge such as driving theory, road safety laws and regulations, traffic signals, traffic rules, etc., plus local regulations.
Students, after selecting a driving school, will receive some exam materials for subject one. They can self-study subject one by combining the study materials with online resources.
Registration: Candidates may sign up for the first subject exam at their convenience. Driving school candidates must independently register and book their exam through the "Self-Appointed Exam System for Driver's Test." Detailed steps can be found in the "Online Registration Process for Driver's Test."
Exam: Once the vehicle administration office notifies you of a successful appointment, you can proceed to take the exam at the specified time and location. If you don't pass the first exam, you can retake it for free on the spot. If you still fail the retake, you'll need to pay and rebook the exam.
2. Driving School Course Two Process
Introduction: Subject Two, also known as the Small Road Test, is a shorthand for the field driving skills examination subject.
Learning: This section requires practical operation learning under the guidance of a driving school instructor. The items for the second subject examination include reversing into a parking space, parallel parking, hill start and parking, 90-degree turn, and curved driving—five mandatory tests. Candidates can click on each item to learn exam tips.
Registration: After passing Subject One, candidates will receive a Temporary Examination Certificate, which is valid for three years. Within the validity period of the temporary examination certificate, candidates can schedule their Subject Two exam. Exam: After the system notifies the examinee of the exam time, the examinee must attend the exam on time. Like subject one, if the examinee fails the first attempt, they can retake the exam for free on the spot. If they still fail the retake, they must pay and book a new exam. Unlike subject one, there is no limit on booking attempts for subject one, but subject two has a limit of 5 attempts. If the examinee fails all 5 attempts, all exam scores (including subject one) will be invalidated.
3. Driving School Course 3 Procedures
Introduction: Subject Three, also known as the Highway Test, is a shorthand for the road driving skills examination subject.
Learning: This section is also studied at a driving school. The exam typically covers: pre-driving preparation, starting the vehicle, straight driving, gear shifting, lane changing, parallel parking, proceeding through intersections, passing bus stops, meeting oncoming vehicles, overtaking, turning around, and driving at night.
Registration: After passing the second driving test, candidates can enroll through the driving examination system.
Exam: Candidates must take the exam within the specified time. Like Subject Two, Subject Three can only be scheduled up to 5 times.
4. Driving School Course 4 Procedure
Introduction: Post-implementation of the new driving test regulations, the third subject exam is divided into two parts, in addition to the road test, a new exam on safe and civilized driving, commonly referred to as "Subject Four," has been added.
Learning: Students learn independently through the internet and driving school materials. The safety and civilized driving knowledge exam includes: requirements for safety and civilized driving operations, knowledge of safe driving under adverse weather and complex road conditions, emergency handling methods in situations like tire blowouts, and knowledge of how to handle traffic accidents.
