Driver's education process
1. Driving School Learning Process: Subject One
Introduction: Subject One refers to the Driver's Theory Exam, covering fundamental knowledge such as driving theory, road safety laws and regulations, traffic signals, and traffic rules, as well as local regulations.
Learn: After selecting a driving school, the school will provide some exam materials for subject one. Candidates can self-study subject one by using these learning materials in conjunction with online resources.
Registration: Candidates may sign up for the first subject exam at their convenience. Driving school candidates must register and book their exam through the "Self-Appointment System for Driver Examination." Detailed steps can be found in the "Online Registration Process for Driver Examination."
Exam: After the vehicle administration office notifies you of your successful appointment, you can go to the exam at the time and location specified in the notice. If you do not pass the first exam, you can retake it for free on the spot. If you still fail the retake, you will need to pay and rebook the exam.
2. Driving School Learning Process - Subject Two
Introduction: Subject Two, also known as the Small Road Test, is a shorthand for the field driving skill examination subject.
Learning: This section requires practical operation learning under the guidance of driving school instructors. The items of the second driving test include reversing into a parking space, parallel parking, hillside parking and starting, right-angle turn, and curve driving. Candidates can click on each item to learn the exam techniques.
Registration: After passing Subject One, candidates will receive a Temporary Examination Permit, which is valid for three years. Within the validity period of the admission ticket, candidates can schedule the Subject Two exam. For details, please refer to the "Shenzhen Subject Two Exam Registration and Appointment Process."
Exam: After the system notifies the examinee of the exam time, the examinee must attend the exam on time. Like Subject One, if the examinee fails the first attempt, they can retake the exam for free on the spot. If they still fail the retake, they will need to pay and book a new exam. Unlike Subject One, there is no limit to the number of bookings for Subject One, but for Subject Two, there are only 5 booking attempts. If the examinee fails all 5 attempts, all exam scores (including Subject One) will be invalidated.
3. Driving School Course 3 Procedure
Introduction: Subject Three, also known as the Road Test, is a shorthand for the driving skill examination subject.
Learning: This section is also studied at the driving school, covering exams that typically include: pre-starting procedures, starting the vehicle, straight-line driving, gear shifting, lane changes, parking on the side of the road, proceeding through intersections, passing bus stops, meeting oncoming vehicles, overtaking, turning around, and driving at night.
Registration: After passing the second driving test, candidates register through the driving exam system.
Examination: Candidates must take the test within the specified time frame, just like Subject Two. For Subject Three, appointments can only be scheduled up to 5 times.
4. Driving School Course 4 Process
Introduction: Following the implementation of the new driving test regulations, the subject three exam is divided into two parts, in addition to the road test, a safety and civil driving test, commonly known as "subject four," has been added.
Students learn independently through the internet and driving school materials. The safety and civil driving knowledge exam covers: safety and civil driving operational requirements, safe driving knowledge under adverse weather and complex road conditions, emergency response methods in situations like tire blowouts, and knowledge of handling traffic accidents.
