Our screw vacuum pumps are non-contact dry pumps, renowned for their broad suction speed range, simple and compact structure, frictionless pump chamber components, long service life, low energy consumption, and oil-free operation. Standard vacuum systems cannot meet the requirements for clean, oil-free, and corrosion-resistant environments. Many oil-filled vacuum systems have been replaced by oil-free, clean vacuum systems. Our dry, oil-free, and environmentally friendly screw vacuum pumps are the upgraded alternatives to reciprocating pumps, water ring pumps, slide valve vacuum pumps, vane vacuum pumps, and Roots blowers.
The screw vacuum pump consists of a working chamber formed by a pair of parallel helical rotors and the pump body, with no friction between the rotors and the pump body and maintaining a certain clearance. The two rotors and the pump body create a sealed cavity. As the rotors rotate, they continuously compress and carry the gas in the sealed cavity to the exhaust port for discharge.
A single screw vacuum pump stroke is equivalent to a single stage pump, while a multi-stroke screw vacuum pump is akin to a multi-stage pump in series. Compared to dry vacuum pumps with multi-stage series arrangements like claw-type and multi-stage Roots vacuum pumps, screw vacuum pumps, with no internal passages between stages and gases directly pushed from the suction side to the discharge side, are less prone to clogging and easier to clean when handling condensable gases and dusty, particulate-laden gases. The intake gas is pressurized smoothly, exceeding the pressure at the discharge. This design ensures that the discharged gas does not contain any oil contaminants. The motor's power is transmitted to the drive shaft via a coupling, which then transmits it to the driven shaft through timing gears. Since screw vacuum pumps do not require oil lubrication or water sealing, the pump chamber is completely oil-free.
