Latex paint is a type of water-based coating made by mixing a synthetic resin base with pigments, fillers, and various additives. It is also known as synthetic resin coating and is a type of organic paint. Any paint that uses water as a solvent or dispersion medium can be called water-based coating, including water-soluble coatings, water-reducible coatings, and water-dispersible coatings (latex coatings). Depending on the production material, latex paint mainly includes varieties such as polyvinyl acetate emulsion paint, ethylene-propylene emulsion paint, and pure acrylic emulsion paint. According to the application environment of the product, it can be divided into interior and exterior latex paints. Based on the decorative finish, it can be further categorized into matte, satin, semi-gloss, silk, and glossy types.
