Construction hoarding is divided into full-closure and semi-closure types.
Construction hoarding must be fully enclosed when used in construction projects. For main roads in urban areas or high-traffic areas, the height must not be less than 2.5 meters, while for others, it must not be less than 1.8 meters. A fully enclosed construction hoarding involves surrounding the entire construction area with metal hoarding, PVC hoarding, color steel hoarding, composite hoarding, etc., to form a fully enclosed fence.
Construction hoarding can be semi-enclosed for municipal projects, where "semi-enclosed" refers to having two or three sides with hoarding and one or two sides open for easy access of construction equipment and materials. The specific setup depends on the bidding documents, drawings, and site conditions, with the construction organization design determining it while ensuring safety. For instance, if a municipal project is in a busy city area, like a road repair where one lane is open for traffic and the other is under repair, a full enclosure is necessary to prevent pedestrians from entering and causing danger. On the other hand, if a new road is in the suburbs, connecting to an old road at one end and open fields at the other, only a single-sided fence and a gate at the junction of the old and new roads are needed, with the other three sides not requiring enclosure. Semi-enclosed construction hoarding refers to a setup where one or more sides are not equipped with hoarding.
Construction Standard for Construction Hoarding:
The base of the enclosure is constructed using M10 cement mortar and MU10 shale bricks, forming a 0.5*0.5 foundation to enhance wind stability. The PVC enclosure is set at a height of 2.5 meters and a width of 3 meters per panel. The construction enclosure is beautified, with the company name, safety, quality, and civil construction phrases, as well as commercial advertisements for development projects, spray-painted. Posting or writing of unsolicited advertisements is strictly prohibited.
The hoarding construction is complete, with smooth transitions between panels and straight lines aligned; no gaps should be left between panels, ensuring no onlooker outside can see the interior work. Red lights or safety reflective cones placed at intervals along the hoarding are used for night-time warnings.
1: First, plan the area to be constructed and establish a rough framework. Typically, this involves laying light steel studs with galvanized iron sheets or using recycled light steel framing. Alternatively, fixed stakes can be used to distribute the general installation route.
When installing, be sure to proceed in sequence to ensure compatibility at all connection points, preventing issues such as gaps or connections that won't connect.
