Hot melt bonding installation
Hot melt butt welding uses a hot melt butt welding machine to heat the pipe ends (hot melt butt welding temperature is 210 ±10℃). Once the pipe ends have melted, they are quickly bonded together while maintaining a certain pressure, and then cooled to achieve the welding purpose. Applicable pipe diameter range: dn ≥ 90mm.
Operation Steps:
1. Place both PE pipe materials to be connected simultaneously in the heat fusion clamp (the clamp can be adjusted by replacing the clamp block according to the diameter of the pipe to be installed), and support the other end of each pipe with a pipe bracket to the same level.
2. Use an electric saw to cut the ends of the tubes smooth, ensuring that the contact surfaces of the two tubes fit perfectly.
3. Heat the electric heating plate to 210°C, place the ends of the two pipes in the center, and operate the electric hydraulic device to ensure both pipe ends are fully in contact with the heating plate for simultaneous heating.
4. Remove the heating plate, then operate the hydraulic unit again to fully align and lock the ends of the two melted tubes with the hydraulic unit (to prevent bounceback).
5. Release after maintaining a certain cooling time; operation complete.
6. Upon completion of construction, the project must pass a pressure test and receive approval before it can be covered with soil and put into use.
