Depending on the different combinations of the rotating axis types, a 5-axis machining center can be categorized into three types.
1. The two rotating shafts consist of two rotating heads (only rotating tools)
2. The two rotating shafts are composed of two rotating worktables (only rotating worktables)
3. Two rotating shafts: one for the rotating head and the other for the rotating worktable (which rotates both the cutting tool and the worktable).
Features of CNC 5-axis machining center:
· Prevents tool interference, capable of processing complex parts that are difficult for standard CNC machines to handle, with wide adaptability.
Multiple spatial surfaces on the workpiece can be clamped once for multi-face and multi-process machining, achieving high processing efficiency.
·During five-axis machining, the tool can be in an *effective cutting state relative to the workpiece surface.
·In certain machining situations, larger-sized cutters can be used to avoid interference, as their rigidity is beneficial for improving both processing efficiency and accuracy.
· Offer precision, quality, and efficiency in processing free-form surfaces in available space.
