PE Water Supply Pipeline Installation Procedure
Hot melt socket installation, typically used for DN20-DN63mm specifications, with the following specific process:
(1) Cut pipes with a pipe cutter as required for installation.
(2) Mark the depth for insertion of the pipe.
(3) Heat the melt head of the melting machine to approximately 20°C.
(4) Additionally, heat the pipes and fittings first, then the plug sockets (once the sockets are in place, let them sit for a while; do not twist during the heating and cooling of the sockets).
(5) Natural cooling
(6) Upon completion of construction and successful pressure testing, put into use.
2. This method is generally used for hot melt butt joint installations with specifications ranging from DN110 to DN1600mm. The specific operation process is as follows:
(1) Place both待安装的PE pipes simultaneously in the heat welder's clamp (the clamp can be adjusted with clamping pads to fit the diameter of the pipes to be installed), with the other end of each pipe supported by a pipe bracket to the same level.
(2) Utilize electric milling cutters to machine the cross-sections of the tubing, ensuring a perfect fit between the two tubes' mating surfaces.
(3) Heat the electric heating plate to 210 degrees, place the ends of the two tubes in the center, and simultaneously operate the electro-hydraulic device to ensure complete contact between the ends of the tubes and the electric heating plate for heating.
(4) Adjust the heating plate, then operate the hydraulic unit again to ensure the two molten tube ends are fully aligned, and securely lock the hydraulic unit (to prevent rebound).
(5) Maintain a certain cooling time to release and complete the operation.
(6) The facility may be reactivated after completion of construction and successful pressure testing.
(7) Take windproof measures when heating the pipes. Cooling should be done step by step; do not cool down rapidly.
3. Electric Fusion Joint (suitable for diameter DN 630mm)
(1) The PE pipe is fully inserted into the electric fusion fitting.
(2) The two wires of the electric melting machine are connected to the positive and negative terminals of the electric melting fittings, respectively.
(3) Turn on the power, heat the heating wire, causing the iron in the internal contact to melt.
(4) Cooling completed.
(5) After completion of construction, the pipeline must pass pressure testing and acceptance before it can be sealed and put into use.
