One, Uses of Lightweight Plaster Gypsum 1. Filling wall gaps. For areas on walls with cracks, dents, or uneven surfaces, lightweight plaster gypsum can be used for repair to maintain a solid and smooth wall. 2. Leveling walls. For walls with uneven thickness, tilting, or varying heights in different areas, lightweight plaster gypsum can be used to level the walls, ensuring a smooth and even surface for later decoration, painting, or tiling. Two, Construction Techniques for Lightweight Plaster Gypsum 1. Preparation: Lightweight plaster gypsum should be applied 3 to 4 days after the thermal mortar has set. The day before application, the base surface needs to be moistened with water, and then again one hour before the plastering work begins. 2. Use the gypsum immediately after mixing; do not let it sit for more than 2 hours. Do not reuse gypsum that has fallen on the ground; control the consistency between 60mm to 90mm. 3. Apply the lightweight plaster gypsum to the wall with a trowel, covering an area of about 1 square meter each time. Use a level ruler to check for flatness and ensure a smooth finish. 4. After all the wall plastering is completed, wait for the gypsum to dry and then moisten it according to temperature and seasonal changes. In summer, watering for maintenance should be done at least twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon, with no more than 4-hour intervals between waterings.
