Section 1: Uses of Lightweight Plaster Gypsum 1. Filling Wall Cracks: Lightweight plaster gypsum is used to repair cracks, dents, and uneven areas on walls, maintaining a strong and smooth surface. 2. Leveling Walls: It is suitable for walls with uneven thickness, tilts, or varying heights across different areas, providing a smooth and even surface for subsequent painting or tiling. Section 2: Construction Techniques for Lightweight Plaster Gypsum 1. Preparation: Apply lightweight plaster gypsum 3 to 4 days after the thermal mortar has cured. Wet the base one day before application and again one hour before the plastering process. 2. Use Immediately: The gypsum should be used as soon as it's mixed, with no more than a 2-hour waiting time. Do not reuse fallen gypsum on the ground, and maintain a consistency of 60mm to 90mm. 3. Apply the gypsum with a trowel, covering about 1 square meter per layer. Check the flatness with a level and ensure smoothness. 4. After all wall plastering is complete, wet the gypsum with water based on temperature and seasonal changes. In summer, water maintenance should be done at least twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon, with no more than 4-hour intervals between waterings.
