The generator set automation control system can accurately and swiftly adjust the operation of the generator set. In case of abnormal conditions, the automation control system can normally judge and promptly handle them, issuing corresponding alarm signals and emergency shutdown to prevent damage to the generator set. Additionally, it can automatically start the standby generator set, shortening the power outage time in the power grid and ensuring the continuity of power supply.
Generator Set Break-in Tips: New or recently overhauled (replaced pistons, cylinder liners, piston rings, main bearing caps, and connecting rod bearings) engines should undergo a prolonged break-in process before normal operation, starting with low load and gradually increasing it to ensure the mechanical system operates smoothly and to avoid abnormal wear and damage. Users must strictly adhere to the break-in procedures, with a minimum break-in running time of 60 hours. The break-in load and time specifications are as follows: Idle for 10 minutes, check oil pressure and for any unusual noises. 5% load for 2 hours, 50% load for 15 hours, 75% load for 30 hours, and then 15 hours.
