




Reports indicate: Mixing 70 parts paraffin oil, 30 parts ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE), and 1 part oxygen-amine silicate (highly dispersed silica) into pellets allows for smooth extrusion (injection) at 190°C. There are two scenarios for co-lubricated extrusion (injection) of UHMW-PE with lubricant: 1) using a gap method [5, 6] to press the lubricant into the mold, forming a lubricating layer between the mold cavity surface and the molten material; 2) blending with low-viscosity resin, making it part of the product (see 3.2.1 for details).
During FRPP pipe hot melt socket connections, the heating temperature should not be too high or too long, with control at 210±10℃. Otherwise, it may cause excessive melted material extrusion inside the fittings, reducing the internal diameter for water flow. When inserting FRPP pipes, ensure the Shanghai glass fiber reinforced polypropylene pipe sockets are clean. Otherwise, it may lead to disconnection and leakage. Also, pay attention to controlling the angle and direction of the pipe fittings to avoid rework. For hot melt joint connections, the voltage should be between 200-220V. If the voltage is too high, it may cause the heating plate temperature to rise excessively. If the voltage is too low, the jointing machine will not operate properly.

PPH pipe can withstand corrosion from various chemical mediums without the need for anti-corrosion treatment. Additionally, it does not promote the growth of algae, bacteria, or fungi, with a service life of up to 50 years.
