


Multiflora Magnolia (scientific name: Magnolia multiflora M. C. Wang et C. L. Min) is a deciduous tree in the Magnoliaceae family and Magnolia genus, reaching up to 14 meters in height with gray bark. The current-year branches are purple-green and smooth. Leaves are oblong-ovate, with a broadly rounded tip, green above, hairless, and gray-green below. Flowers bloom before the leaves, located at the branch tips, forming panicles, with a cup-shaped appearance and a fragrant scent; the petals are white with a faint pink base, the petals are laterally开裂, the filaments are purple-red, the ovary cluster is green and cylindrical, and the聚合果 is cylindrical, broadly ovate. Flowers bloom in May and fruits ripen from August to September.
Distributed in Shaanxi, China. Grows in forests at an altitude of 1,690 meters.
Multiflora magnolia is a strong-resistant soil and water conservation tree species.
