The forming process of seamless steel pipes, which includes the forming and die design of the generator components and the adjustment methods for the plate holes of seamless steel pipes, immediately affects the quality of the welding. Traditional forming processes use roller forming techniques, such as semi-circle, double semi-circle; W-bend forming plate hole systems, along with two-roller, three-roller, and precision cold drawn four-roller or five-roller extrusion forming rolls. Seamless steel pipe cutting is ensured by two-roller or four-roller die molds to guarantee the forming quality. This type of traditional roller forming process is mostly used for seamless steel pipe generators with diameters below φ114mm.
