Application Method:
1. The boards must be tightly packed together with no gaps between the carved panels. For walls with painted finishes, use the dot and frame method to adhere polystyrene boards, ensuring the bonded area is no less than 40%.
2. No adhesive should be applied at the seams. After applying adhesive to the polystyrene board, quickly affix the board to the wall, and clean any excess adhesive promptly after each piece is installed.
3. If gaps are formed due to uneven EPS board surfaces or uneven cuts, and the gap width exceeds 2mm, insert EPS strips and sand them flat. The height difference between seams should not exceed 1.5mm; otherwise, use mortar or a specialized sanding tool to level it out.
4. After adhesive is applied to the surface of the expanded polystyrene board, if left exposed to air for too long, a thin crust may form on the adhesive surface, affecting its bonding strength. To ensure flatness and secure adhesion, then use a level ruler to flatten the operation.
