The GX type screw conveyor, commonly known as a auger, is a widely used continuous conveying equipment in the mining and construction industries. This machine is suitable for a wide range of applications in industries such as chemicals, construction materials, machinery, coal, metallurgy, light industry, grain, transportation, and hydropower, for conveying various types of powdered and small-sized materials.
Highlight Advantages
GX Type Screw Conveyors are primarily used for horizontal conveying and vertical lifting of various loose materials such as powders, granules, and small pieces. These conveyors are not suitable for materials that are prone to deterioration, have high viscosity, tend to clog, are at high temperatures, are sensitive to pressure, or have high corrosiveness.
Operating Principle
The GX Screw Conveyer utilizes an electric motor to drive the spiral rotation, capable of horizontal, inclined, or vertical conveying, making it an ideal equipment for transporting various powdered or granular materials. It propels the material to be conveyed along the fixed housing interior by the rotating spiral, similar to a nut caught in a screw thread, which can only move in a linear motion along the screw. This ensures that the material does not rotate with the spiral, thereby achieving the conveying function. Screw conveyers are divided into two main types: horizontal screw conveyers and vertical screw conveyers.
