WACKER® SRE CN Silicone Defoaming Emulsion
Product Features
WACKER® SRE CN is a general-purpose defoaming agent with 20% active content and 33% solid content. Despite containing a high amount of emulsifiers, the product has a low viscosity, making it easy to disperse and measure during use. Due to its high resistance to acidity and alkalinity, WACKER® SRE CN is widely used in environments with strict pH requirements.
Product Applications
WACKER® SRE CN is an ideal raw material for addressing foam issues, such as in textile auxiliaries and processing, cooling lubricants for mineral oils, the precipitation of monomers in dispersion, and the conversion of dispersions into other derivatives.
WACKER® SRE CN is a highly effective defoaming agent, used in various fields such as agricultural chemicals (pesticides), detergents, and the petrochemical industry. WACKER® SRE CN is also a defoaming agent in wastewater treatment.

Processing Services:
As a low-viscosity emulsion, WACKER® SRE CN is easy to measure and disperses readily in high-viscosity formulations. In low-viscosity products, it's necessary to first test the compatibility and stability of the defoaming system. The addition amount in liquid formulations depends on the desired level of foam control, typically between 0.1% and 0.2%. If planning to add WACKER® SRE CN during the process, it is recommended to dilute it with cold water at a 1:10 ratio beforehand. If using a feed pump, opt for a low-shear variety.
Product Storage:
WACKER® SRE CN can be stored in its original sealed container for at least 6 months under conditions of 5°C to 30°C. Additionally, the product label will indicate the "Best Before" date for the product.
Shelf life exceeding the best before date stated on the label does not necessarily mean the product is unusable. However, to ensure product quality, it is necessary to re-evaluate the relevant properties of the product in this case.
